Officer's Stone Quarters

Building its walls as much as eight feet thick of native limestone, Major Patrick Sinclair constructed the Officers' Stone Quarters to withstand any attack the American rebels could mount during the Revolutionary War.

.
Today, as in 1780, the porch of the Officers' Stone Quarters offers a breath-taking view of the Straits of Mackinac.
