My gf and i went to the island on the 2nd of October and it was an awesome experience. I liked how there was only horses and no cars what so ever. I cant wait to go there again!!!!

My best friend in the entire world got married September, 17th 2011 at the Island House on Mackinac Island. It was the best weekend of my life :o) Good times, great people and unforgettable memories! Unfortunately, I lost my silver Casio camera on the island that day. It had hundreds of pictures of the wedding weekend on it. The last time it was seen was in the 1852 Room during the reception at the Island House. I was staying at the Pontiac Lodge and lost it sometime on the walk from the reception back to my room. Please, if anyone has seen it or picked it up, I am just looking for the pictures back. The camera itself is not important to me! My email address is lnwood23@yahoo.com if you have any info! Mackinac Island is the best vacation destination ever!

Remembering all the good times staying on Mackinac; when it was just the two of us and then with our children. We made it a tradition to always go over Labor Day weekend when the kids were little. It's something they both remember from years ago. This year, my daughter and her husband made the trip and had a great time! It's a place you can visit over and over again and still see things not seen on previous trips!

I just had my first visit to the Island and it was one of the most relaxing vacations of my life. Everyone of the employees from the guy cleaning up after the horses to the carriage drivers should be commended for doing an awesome job! I look forward to my next visit - SOON!

Since "Somewhere in Time" has always been my favorite movie, I dream of walking through the Grand Hotel with my husband. Sometimes....dreams comes do come true...Looks like a beautiful place.

My husband and I were married at the Little Stone Church in 2009, and go every year for our anniversary. We look forward to going every year and will be there for a week this year. We love the pace of the Island and would love to live there.
