TO JOHN AND LAURIE FROM CENTRAL LAKE. SAW YOUR E MAIL ABOUT YOUR TIME ON THE ISLAND IN MARCH. FOR THE PAST 3 YEARS WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THE ISLAND THE LAST WEEKEND IN JANUARY AND STAYING AT THE PONTIAC LODGE ( WONDERFUL PLACE ). WINTER ON THE ISLAND IS SOOOO BEAUTIFUL. WE HAVE BEEN COMING TO THE ISLAND IN THE SPRING FOR ALMOST 25 YRS NOW BUT HAVE FOUND GOING IN THE WINTER IS ABSOLUTELY THE BEST EXPERIENCE. HOPE YOU GO BACK TO THE ISLAND IN THE WINTER.. WE ALREADY HAVE OUR RESERVATIONS FOR NEXT WINTER.

Our first trip to the island in the winter was March 29, 2008. What a wonderful experience! I'd go again in winter! We stayed at the Pontiac Lodge and Shari was very nice and accomodating. Our room was absolutely great. Enjoyed talking with "the locals".

i hade came to mackinac island in the 8th grade and i realy enjoyed being there i like the carrege ride and i loved the grand hotell it is beautiful

My wife and I were there in 2003, extremely beautiful, we had a victorian style wedding photo taken and it graces our wall today. Would love to go back

Planning our trip to Mackinaw island with my Junior Girl Scouts in June. Eric at the Murray hotel has been so nice and helpful. Given a great discounted rate for the scout troop. Would recomend this to any troop.

My husband and I were married on the Island in September 2007, and it was the fairytale wedding I had always dreamed about! To any bride considering getting married there, I would highly recommend it!

I have been to the island a few times in the past ten years but have never stayed overnight. This year I am finally going to do it. My husband and myself will be stayine at the Main Street Inn in one of the suites along Main Street. I e-mailed many times with he youg lady who was working in the reservation center and she was most helpful and very pleasant. I am so looking forwad to this I can hardly ait for June.
