7th Annual Geocaching Spring Fling
Geocaching (pronounced geo-cashing) is a worldwide game of hiding and seeking treasure. A geocacher can place a geocache in the world, pinpoint its location using GPS technology and then share the geocache’s existence and location online. Anyone with a GPS device can then try to locate the geocache.
The LePage Family has placed over 90 geocaches on Mackinac Island. Join in the fun with everyone and go on a modern day treasure hunt. Grand Hotel is offering fantastic room packages for all Geocachers on this weekend. Bicycle rentals will be available from Mackinac Wheels, though cachers may bring their own bicycles on the ferry for an additional fee.
