11am-3pm Go Lakers! - To help raise funds for the Mackinac Island Lakers sports programs, the school has set up a great fundraiser of all things wearable to show your team spirit. Mackinac Island Public School.

12:00pm Shepler's Captain for a Day!-Learn what it takes to be a Captain on the Great Lakes with hands-on activities, such as, Knot Tying, Navigation through Charting, and tours of the Pilot House and Engine Room.  You will also be treated to a short cruise of the harbor. For the tours, you must be able to navigate steep stairs. The program is free, open to the public and will be held on the Sacre Bleu, docked at the end of Shepler’s Mackinac Island Main Dock.

2:00pm Patrick Sinclair Scottish Tattoo - Head to the ramparts of Fort Mackinac as we honor the memory of Fort Commander and Scotsman Patrick Sinclair. Listen to the stirring pipe tunes that over centuries have given courage and inspiration on battle fields in every corner of the globe. Marquette Park

3;00pm Scottville Clown Band - The Scottville Clown Band’s roots date back to the start of the 1900’s when a musical group of merchants began to dress as hillbillies while entertaining at local carnivals. Marquette Park, presented by Doud’s Market, Michigan’s oldest family run grocery store.

4:00pm Lilac Festival Grand Parade presented by Coca Cola - Considered a Local Legacy Event by the United States Library of Congress, this festival finale is led by the family of Don “The Duck” Andress, Carl Andress  & Jamie Andress-Islanders and direct descendants of Chief Mackinac along with Don and Darold Keith, descendants of Chief Pontiac and Chief Okemos.

5:30pm Parade Winners & $10,000 Raffle - This marks the end of the festival where we announce the parade winners and select the raffle winners. $100 raffle tickets are available from the Tourism Bureau. To order tix by phone please call (800) 454-5227
